The heart of Vastu is the study of matter and energy. Quantum physics teaches us that any object with masses has an equal amount of energy, and the reverse is true. Einstein said that E=mc2 is the simplest formula.
This is simply a way of saying that a normal object that has a small quantity of mass will have an enormous amount of energy in its form.
A Vedic hymn says " Vastu Reva Vastu" which simply signifies that in every form of matter in the universe, each particle has energy that is at its own particular frequency, some positive and negative. Once we have enclosed free space, we are enclosing some amount of particles. Each particle has different energy amounts, some of them positive, others negative.
The purpose of Vastu seeks to create an energy synergy between its inhabitants of the structure, the environment, and nature. If the energy stored by any building is negative residents suffer from poor health, financial difficulties, unhappiness, etc. If the stored energy of the building is positive, people in the building enjoy health, wealth, and happiness.
So the main concept that is the basis of Vastu involves the concentration of energy. Vedas describe it as Pranic energies.
The only primary source of Pranic energy comes from that the Sun and is the main cause of all other energy sources. Pranic energy is found everywhere in every particle, whether gas, liquid or solid. Pranic energy refers to a form of positive energy that boosts vital energy for humans.
In Physics The First Law of Energy states that energy cannot be made or destroyed. It only changes from one form to another. The amount of energy within the universe remains constant.
"The Second Law of Energy states that when energy is transformed into another form, it is reduced by 10 percent of the initial amount.
This suggests that the closer one is to the source, the greater the energy one receives.
Direct sunshine is the primary energy source in any home office, store, factory, etc., as well as for the human race itself.
The solar energy that is received in any particular location is contingent on the geographic location and the season. In India, the sun is most distant in the North-East and is closest to the South-West. The positive energy is absorbed by the early morning sun, which consists of beneficial UV rays as well as less energy.
This is why it is recommended that the North-East remain clear and light to create the creation of a bigger field that can provide the highest amount of potential for positive energy. The South-West is the place at which the sun is closest. That's why it needs to be blocked and made heavier to prevent negative energy from entering the building.
The North-West is the region in which the lowest amount of solar energy is absorbed.
The center of the structure is where energy is weakest, which is the reason why no living spaces are provided there, and Vastu recommends keeping the middle wide open to the sky.
Vastu establishes a positive relationship between the microcosm, i.e. humans, and the macrocosm which is the universe. It can alter humans' cosmic trajectory and lead to stability and achievement.
